![]() ![]() Note: Townie names for Selvadorada locals, jungle adventure skeletons, pets, robots, ROM familiars, Star Wars townies etc. I intent to keep this updated as long as the Sims 4's lifecycle, so keep coming back after each major patch! Note: This does not affect existing townies, it only affects new townies generated with this mod installed. I did not create any new names myself - all the names are from the default lists from Maxis. (Please note the previous two other versions are no longer available, as they do not work well anymore and I can't figure out the cause, I think EA may have changed the names coding). Komorebi, the randomly generated locals will not have Japanese names. Please note that when you play in Sulani, the newly generated locals will no longer have Island Living names either. All other townie names should generate in your game's language, including all the non-alphabetical languages (Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Russian). How the mod works:Īll City Living/Island Living/Snowy Escape townie names have been deleted and replaced with the huge lists of townie names available from previously. Please let me know if you have issues with other languages. Should support all languages, although I only play in English and can only test the English version of the game extensively. With this mod, the names for townies will now come from the list of names from before the pack(s) were installed, so no more such names for your townies in other worlds! Requires City Living, Island Living and/or Snowy Escape expansions to be used. Again with Snowy Escape, Japanese named townies are also found EVERYWHERE, not just in Mt. With Island Living, unfortunately, Sulani locals names are generated for random townies in ALL other worlds, breaking that immersion. With City Living installed, many townies would have very repetitive names such as "Datta", "Gupta" and "Izumi" - it's the same names everywhere you go. This mod changes the way townies are named if you have City Living, Island Living or Snowy Escape. Im sorry it is the only version that I know that did not give any bugs. After extensive testing in my own game (English version), I had to delete the other versions of this mod. I could NOT figure out the cause (I think EA has changed the coding on names ). The reason is there has been some reports of NPCs spawning without second names. Unfortunately, there is now only 1 version of this mod - No CL/IL/SE names.
